Early 2016, Immersive sponsored 2 members from Seido Karate South Africa to travel and attend the World Seido Karate Tournament.

The World Seido Karate Organisation with their headquarters based in New York City hosted their 40th Anniversary Celebration at SUNY (State University New York) between 1 June and 7 June 2106. This event was attended by many students from more than 20 countries from around the world including South Africa. The team from Johannesburg consisting of 16 members was led by Jun Shihan George Wong (6th Dan), Kyoshi Khalil Koor (5th Dan) and Kyoshi Nesan Naidoo (5th Dan).

The celebration was a very special event which was attended by top karate practitioners from around the world and many new bonds and friendships were formed. It was important that the representative team from South Africa was able to attend and keep South African karate firmly in the world map.
